These data are global average values for semi-manufactured stoppers. In our laboratory we examine samples of manufactured products and maintain the readings they yield in control forms. When material is shipped, a copy of the test results is sent with it. The company reserves the right to modify, with prior notice, the technical specifications presented in this catalog. This document is meant to be of an orientational nature concerning our product and manufacturing methods, and is complemented by the information supplied with the ordered product.

Composition: Agglomerated cork body (grain size from 3 to 6 mm / average density 70-75 kg/m3)

Measurements: Diameter: from 25 to 30.5 mm / Length: between 38 and 48 mm (standard measurements; manufacture of other measurements to order)

Weight: Varies according to diameter. Average between 5 g (24 x 38 mm) and 9 g (30 x 45 mm)
Agglomerated cork body density: Between 260 and 285 kg/m3

Moisture: Between 4 and 8 %

Rupture strength: Between 25 and 45 kg

Rupture angle: Between 45 and 50º

Vertical compression/recovery: Applying a mass of 28 kg for 30 seconds, we obtain a 99 % recovery in the same time interval

Horizontal compression/recovery: Applying a mass of 92 kg for 30 seconds, we obtain a 98 % recovery in the same time interval

Water absorption after 10 minutes boiling: Between 8 and 15 %

Organoleptic analysis: Free of foreign flavors and odors

Microbiological analysis: Bacteria < 105 CFU/stopper, N.C.S. Standard / Filamentous fungi and yeast < 106 CFU/stopper. N.C.S. Standard
